Art Barn by Traver Dodorye

A couple from New York — who prefer to remain anonymous — have reconstructed a 400-acre farm land in Hudson Valley into an artistic homebase, aptly dubbed the “art farm.” The ardent art collectors have amalgamated modern art installations with the countryside, presenting an ethereal abode where anything from the windows to the floating staircase see exquisite craftsmanship from famed architects and artisans. German painter Franz Ackermann took the family room with his mural Inhabitat Hills, while at the foyer, Martin Kersel’s Dinoysian Stage sees an enormous spinning bird’s nest melange with household items — a striking installation that sits alongside pieces from Jeppe Hein, Dough Aitken and Monika Sosnowska. Have a glance at the photos above and head over to W Magazine for the full article.
